I'm a second semester nursing major and you can get many jobs being a nurse. Being a nurse is one of those jobs where they say that you will never be out of a job for a long as you live. Now .. depending on what grade you are in , you can definitely become a CNA which is a certified nursing assistant (im in the process of doing that now). You will learn necessary skills and have a CNA license by the time that you get into the nursing program. To get into university , just keep your grades up as much as possible. When you get into uni, that's when you choose classes based on nursing. Like English classes based on medicine, ALOT of science classes, math, critical thinking. You need all of it. I even took economics this year but every university requires something different. I'm assuming your in high school, so what I can say is you should definitely take as much science and math classes as you possibly can and you should be set for uni. I wish all the best luck in your future. :)
