What does your family eat for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner? I want to cook for my family this year and we have never celebrated either of those holidays before.

is ti bad to microwave food? i dont know why i hear its bad... changes chem composition of food or w/ee??
That's ridiculous, microwaves do nothing of the sort. A microwave oven heats things up with magnets. The magnetic field causes the molecules in the food to move around very quickly, and the friction between molecules heats the food up. It's not particle radiation (like a nuclear bomb), which *would* be dangerous.

i'm trying to find some healthy snacks to eat after school. i'm thinking about making my self a banana smoothie, but i'm not sure how. all of the recipes that i've read include ice cream or yougurt. and 1) ice cream would be too unhealthy and 2)i hate yogurt and i don't have any.
is it possible to make a banana smoothie with 1 whole banana and milk in a blender? what else would i need to add to this? and is this considered healthy?
if not...what are some other easy healthy snacks that i can eat. not peanut butter & apples or celery because i don't like those things.
thanks!
Milk and banana would taste like banana-flavored milk. I'm sure it would be tasty, but not smoothie-like. If you froze it after you made it(not in glass, though, that'll shatter) it'll be like a banana-milk popsicles, which could be ok. Have you ever tried plain yogurt? It's almost completely tasteless. Also, there's sugar free ice cream, do a google search.
Vegetables are good healthy snacks, since they're mostly water. Fruits are ok, but some have a lot of sugar. Whole-grain graham-crackers and raw(unsalted) nuts are good.
