Im a guy. just around 13.
I have a problem that so far, no 1 has been able to solve. I get asked out by girls alot. I feel that this is a little akward. isnt the guy supposed to ask the girl out.
2nd. whenver i try to ask a girl out i always get rejected. why does this happen. should i just let them come to me or what. (link)

hey! ok, well, it is no big deal for a girl to ask a guy out! so no worries for you! if you really like a girl though you should ask her out. maybe the girls think that they are the ones to ask you out so that is why they reject you. wait a while and if they don't come.. GO FOR IT! (-:.

Dear Bets,
There's this guy at my school named Sushi (weird beyond reason, I know) and he likes me a lot. The problem is, is that he's kinda stalking me. Not in a weird, "OMG! I'm gonna call the police!" thing, but still he's called me 5 times at my house but I've only answered once (thank gosh for caller ID!). He was even planning to call me while he was on a 3-way call w/ his friends so they could listen in on our conversation. He keeps sending his friends to talk to me and it's getting really annoying. He came up and talked to me the other day and it was completely awkward. He hasn't asked my out yet (AND I SURE AS HECK DON'T WANT HIM TO!) but I have a feeling he might soon. How do I tell him that I don't like him without hurting his feelings and getting the reputation of a mean girl?

hey ann! well, if you think about it, he must really like you. he probably admires you and that is a good thing (i would take it as a complement) but the thing is you aren't meant to be boy friend and girl friend. so if i were you, i would tell him that you want to be his friend, but you don't want to be if girl friend. it might hurt his feelings a little, but he will move on! hopw it helps!
