YES it is but it is more traditional for the guy to ask you out but if you like the guy just go for it either way you ask or he ask doesnt matter at all. In the end hopefully it will all be the same answer yes.

on my birthday i found out that my ex boyfriend just got asked out by someone else. i asked him out about four or five days before he went out with the other girl. and i definetly know that it isn't fair. also he dumped me for no stupid reason. now my question is what should i do about this other than talking to him? should i ask him out again or should i try talking to him more and more?? sorry it is so so so so long.. ha ha

well i think that whatever reason he dumped you if he is really worth going out with again cause he might break your heart again think about it and ask yourself is it worth it to go through a heartbreak again for this guy.
