Well first of all let me tell you that you can't just get a boyfriend. I mean, you can and all, it's possible, but make sure you like the guy. Because if you don't like the guy where is the point?
But I do have some pointers:
Do not suck up to the guy, he will find out. Try not to be completely obvious. Because if you are obvious, he will notice and think you're desperate.
Try and find a lot you have in common with the guy and make conversation. But if you know nothing about what he's talking about don't pretend you do. I promise you it will backfire in your face.
Whatever you do don't put out that is horrible. You do not want a boyfriend that is only going out with you because you'll do things with him. That just gives you a horrible reputation.
Compliment him and just try and strengthen your friendship. Drop a few hints but not a lot. Like joke around with him and be like "Wow you have really big muscles" trust me guys really like that, it's like a huge compliment.
Okay, but the guy may not like you. So if you get that vibe then kind of back off. I'm not saying completely stop trying, but if he doesn't like you there isn't a point getting worked up over nothing.
