Ok so I need some new characyers for my book, it has always been my dream to be a writer. Ok mine is the titanic story as i have girls parents die brother and her go on titanic brother drownds girl meets guy named Alex fall in love the get rescued when girl gets to new york she has to live with her aunt and uncle who are child abusers so she runs away. I need some new character and if you want to be in my story post your name age what you look like so the characyer doesent seem faceless and an outline of your personality. thanks

how about this, perhaps:

she looks around for a place to stay, and somehow comes up with a grouphome-type thing where Titanic survivors with no family or place to stay live. she could meet her new best friend, and the two can embark on a journey to find alex and this new friend's family. the new character will have to be the opposite of the main girl so the pair complete each other and are compatible.

im the girl with the story and i have never seen the movie titanic is my book following what happens in it or something because I dont want it to do that and i have never seen the movie

long story short:

in the movie, a girl named rose meets a boy by the name of jack. over the 3-or-so days before the crash, they fall madly in love. when the iceberg hits and women and children are supposed to go into lifeboats, rose leaves and risks her life to go rescue jack, who is locked up downstairs(long story) the two end up making it, but not in a lifeboat. rose floats on a painting while jack bobs in the water holding onto it. basically he freezes and dies, so only rose survives. she lives, and later on(present day) she helps historians and dies peacefully. oh, and theres this whole thing about a wicked exspensive jewel that rose had all along. but thats irrelevant.

anyway, your story isnt too similar; i'd say the only similar thing is they fell in love, etc. but rose comes to peace with jacks death, thus joining the two. so if you wrote about a blissful life from the getgo, the reader would be bored because its so close to the movie. this is why i would suggest some unexpected things in your book to keep the reader on the toes the whole way through, cover to cover.

I cant believe i am doing this okay i am writing a book about the titanic a novel and the crash happened and they got saved the girls name is isabel and her brotheer died in the crash also she met a boy named alex on the trip and they are in love ok the people rescued them and i dont know what to write next i am having a writers block can i have some ideas

perhaps create a breakup for a while, until the main characters realize cannot live without each other. you dont want it to sound too much like the movie :] create some twists and turns to keep the reader interested
