Hey everyone!
Random question, but I was just kind of wondering, is there any sort of significance in calling someone 'pretty' as opposed to another word like cute or hot?
My friends, they always say that I'm very "PRETTY", they put an emphasis on the word, like it means something else than being, say, cute.
I kinda thought it was slightly more grown-up looking than cute, but not as attractive as someone who is beautiful or hot. Sound about right or no?
Sometime we put way to much emphasis on words. I really never put much thought into the difference between "Hot" and "Beauteful" or "Pretty and "Beautiful."
My wife for instance is a beautiful women who is pretty that can be hot when she dresses to be hot. So in one sentence I have used all three words to describe one person.
A beautiful person = someone who is loving and caring for me and all people she meets.
Pretty = Is her outward appearance which initially attracted me to her. I grew to love the beautiful person that she is.
Hot = Sexy. She only dresses that way for my benefit and generally when we are alone and a prelude to a night of hot sex.
You do not have to be pretty or cute to be a beautiful person. The beautiful person is the person who lies below the ski. Remember beauty is only skin deep.
As for hot. There is an old saying which goes back as far as man kind. what men want in a women they want to marry is a women who's outward appearance to others is one of a Nun or school teacher. Though in the bedroom they want her to be a world class whore. In other words a wife is a women who looks untouchable to others but in our bedroom should be sexually pleasing to her man.
Probably not exactly the way things are seen today but still the every man thinks of his future wife.
