Hey, I'm Melody! I've been giving advice on and off since 2003. I'm a 23 year old military wife, expecting a baby boy in August, and working on my Bachelor's degree. :)
Oh, and ask me anything!
Advice
I already have a test tomorow on Lab safety. ANd she gave us 17 symbols to remember, and then their exact definition! What is a good way to remember their definition! I am horrible at memorizing things, expeciially in a couple days
I had problems memorizing things in school too. I discovered the best way to remember something is through word association. After that, studying and passing tests was easy for me.
Come up with something totally stupid and un-related to associate the symbol with the correct definition. For example, in my government class last year we had to memorize all 27 amendments. The 13 amendment was to abolish slavery. How did I remember that? I associated thirteen with being unlucky, and since slavery is unlucky, I remember that abolishing it was the thirteenth amendment. It really makes no sense at all, but when you come up with silly stuff like that, it really helps :) Just try it out.
