what shall i do if i start my periods i live with my dad and i see my mum at weekends but what shaal i do if im with my dad and periods start,we dont discuss things like this and my nana tells me but i get all shy and embarrassed id rather do it this way so what shall i do if i start my periods? Well you should start by going out and buying some maxi pads for teens (I suggest getting the ones with wings) to be prepared for when the day comes, and to practice putting them on your underwear.
And do exactly that, take one out and get comfortable with it .. practice putting it on your underwear, maybe even wear one for an hour or so to get a feel for it..
When you do start if you get some cramps, maybe a hot water bottle on your belly will help.
