I really want to buy a new camcorder on a count that my old ones kinda dead. (everytime i try to record, it says theres no tape[its like a 2000 cam.]) idk whats wrong with it. but i was wondering, would it be cheaper to just buy a whole new and improved camera or bring it to a shop and fix it(plus an adapter so i can download the film to my computer[$50]) Im not trying to spend a whole lot of money. and i dont have the camcorder name. sorry. does anyone know of a camcorder thats really reliable and cheap? answer any of those questions and i'll love you. =]

I definitely think that you should invest in a new camera, but if you get rid of your old camera make sure to give it away to some sort of recycling program for electronics instead of throwing it out. I'm not sure how hi-tech you want your camera to be, but you should look into the Flip cameras theflip.com because they are SOOOOO easy to use and cheap and portable and great (although the quality isn't perfect).
