I been losing alot of sleep lately, at sometimes i would find myself just laying there all night and never get any sleep, im afraid i wont have my sleep back in time for school and could it be depression related? if so, how do i stop it? thanks lots (link)
I have the same exact problem, i hate it! I'm definitely going to goto the docs before school starts. A lack of sleep may be caused by several things..but if you think it's depression, here are some signs:

-Feeling negative, hopeless, or "down in the dumps."
-Noticeable loss of interest or pleasure in almost all activities
-Significant weight loss or gain
-Difficulty falling asleep or sleeping too much
-Feeling restless and unable to sit still
-Feeling tired all the time
-Feelings of worthlessness or inappropriate guilt
-Inability to concentrate, remember, or make decisions
-Recurring thoughts of death or suicide



If you feel that several of those feelings of depression are causing your sleep problems, i'd consider going to a doctor. They will put you on some type of med to decrease your depression and promote sleep.
