Q: well, i would love to be with my ex, but i know its never going to happen. i miss him everyday but he doesnt want me anymore. we dated for almost 2 years and he broke up with me. he came back to me about 3 times telling me how he was sorry and hes just been confused. but about a month ago he broke up with me when he found out his mom was going to die soon.. and i tried really hard to get him back but he said he just doesnt like me anymore. and about a week later his mom died and since then he barely will talk to me. i told him how much i love him and how i wanted to be there for him but he told me to just leave him alone and move one.. im not sure if its just because of his mom or if he really just doesnt want me. its hard because hes done this 3 or more times saying the same things and then coming back to me.. so its very confusing but this time i dont think hes coming back beacuse normally he'll still give me a call once n awhile. im trying to move on but its so hard. what can i do to help with the pain. all ive been doing is going out drinking, meeting new people but everynight i go home and feel so empty. ive met a lot of new guys but i dont like any of them they're all just annoying. i just want my ex so bad, and i need to get over him but nothnig is working. hellpp

Hey there, well, my opinion would be to try and let him go...
Guys tend to do that a lot to girls (girls do it too though) and for some reason or another, mostly because we care, we stick around and put up with it.
I think because it's been so off and on that it's not really a healthy relationship anymore.
I totally feel for your ex and agree that he needs someone because that has got to be one of the hardest things that a persn can go through. But, unfortently sweetie I don't think your the person he needs to make it better. I would take his advice, and move on (and I mean really move on, not take him back when he feels like it.)
What he is doing is not fair to you no matter how bad things are in his life.
I had a question before about how to stop thinking about a guy and move on/get over one and the person seemed to like it so maybe they will help you too?
One of the things I had to been able to do is keep my priorities straight and think about other things as much as I could.
If your laying in bed before you go to sleep, put some head phones on or watch tv for a little bit to distract yourself.
Or MAKE yourself think of something/someone else.
If you start to think of him right away think of like, what your going to wear the next day, what you've got to get done, how good your day was, what you'd like to improve, or even think of ALL the really good things going on in your life.
During the day time, keep your self busy.
I think the biggest thing is to never give yourself the time to think about him or the situation.
Even if you can't go anywhere; draw a picture, listen to music, clean your room, ANYTHING. Just keep your mind busy on other things and eventually it'll become natural and you hopefully won't think about him at all or when you do it won't be in a wanting him abck kind of way...
For me it took time in the beginning. I REALLY had to make sure that I didn't allow myself to continue to think about the guy and it really did work.
I would dance or work out or just do things to improve myself. Or I'd focus on the good, nice stuff I could do for all my friends and family so my mind was constantly going and thinking about positive things that I didn't have time to think about the guy whether my thoughts about him were good or bad.
Anyway, I just know how annoying that could be and those were the things that worked best for me, but not everyone can do that, so maybe someone else on here can give you better options. =)
But I hope this at least helped a little. Good luck!

Hey! =) I really love my life and the things and people in it. I love fashion, make-up, going out, dancing, teaching dance, and being with my friends and family. I feel very blessed for the things I have. It took me a while to get to this point though and I know that growing up, and even people my age, you need advice about certain things every now and then. I've always had people give me advice about things and I've been able to use their advice through my own experience and mistakes and come up with some of my own things. And now I'm the one always helping my friends out. I always have new ideas that I love to share. And well, I can't promise I'll always be able to help or give you the answer you're looking for but, I'll definitely do my best. =)
Also, whether you ask me a question in my inbox or I answer one alone I normally ALWAYS add in my experiences because for me, I like to know when people can relate and aren't just guessing, it's easier when someone has actually been through it. And I'm not going to do any favors by lying, so I am ALWAYS going to be honest. But keep in mind just becasue of my experience and my honesty does not mean I am always right and I understand that. Feedback is appreciated to know what I can work on with certain answers, not demanded.
