Over the summer, i met this boy, and he SEEMED NICE. I defended him and everything. But sometimes, he would act like i was a burden to hang out with. I never hinted to him for anything more than a friendship- even though i wanted more. But then i went home and we started talking over myspace, which i do not have one anymore, and he seemed all nice and sweet and all. Then he was getting his friend to ask me if i liked him and all but his friend wouldnt tell me what he thought of me.
And he somehow got my best friends phone and prank called her. And when he found out i knew his number he freaked out and told my brother that he didnt want me to have it because he thought i would call him constantly. WRONG!
And he is 16 and there is a 12 year old girl down the street and he un-tied her bikini top so everything showed to the whole neighborhood. And it pisses me off that he did that to her. She is like my lil sister.
At sometimes i am just like what a jerk, and he is conceited too. I hate people like that. But at other points i think i like him. What is wrong here?? HELP (link)

Alright FIRST OFF
There's no way a 16 year old boy should do anything like to anyone, especially a 12 year old girl.
It seems to me like he's got a ways to go maturity-wise, which tells me that he's probably got a thing for you.
Boys at a young age often are still scared to admit that they like girls, they try and tell people their feelings is discrete, indirect fashions, such as through a friend. He probably LOVES your company but is too scared to tell you, and once he knew you knew his phone number, he was probably nervous that you'd call him. A phone call between you would put him in the kind of situation he isn't used to yet.
His conceitedness is also probably just another coverup to show his true feelings, he's not mature enough yet to let lose and let the world know what he is really thinking
I'd suggest you try and get to know him better as a friend so that he stops feeling so insecure around you, then maybe if he becomes less of a jerk, you can get to know him better.
Another point you shouldnt ignore is people often want what they can't get. You could easily be attracted by the fact that he treats you badly, you want what you can't have. You should try and figure out how to help him past his insecurities if he's worth it.
