advice
well im a cheerleader and we always have our arms up and are always in hot conditions and our uniforms have no sleeves. I sweat alot and i get musty. i've tried a whole lot of different deoderants and they don't work. i've even tried secret clinical streangth and that didn't work. Whenever the coach has a meeting about higene i think shes talking about me. I even heard some of the cheerleaders talking and they said if she stink again today we gon have to talk to her.they didn't say my name but i know they were talking about me and i don't want it to get to the point where they have to talk to me. it's really embarassing. please help!
Here are some things that you can try that might help you out...
Sweat smells different from B.O., so even if you're wearing deodorant, that stops the B.O. smell but might not help the sweating. Make sure your deodorant has antiperspirant. (I use Degree, it's really good.)
Because sweat itself smells, if you sweat a lot, try to take as many "bathroom breaks" as possible to wipe your sweat off and reapply your deodorant. It kind of depends on the conditions at games/practices/competition, but do whatever you can to wipe the sweat off and reapply deodorant. In my mind, you can never have too much deodorant.
Make sure you keep your armpits shaved- hair can hold smell.
Try to take a shower right before you cheer, if at all possible.
If these tips don't work, you might want to see a doctor.
