I'm 15 years old and will be 16 in december. I want to get a job. I've been wanting to for a while. I live in Miami, Florida. I've been looking everywhere and I can't seem to find a job because either 1) age requirement is 16 2) they dont have anymore openings or 3) i just havent looked hard enough. Either way, I still dont have a job.
I wanted to work at Barnes and Noble/Books and Book/Borders... but I dont think they allow 15 year olds to work there? Right?
Btw, I'm a GREAT STUDENT if that helps.
But can someone tell me like a good first job that allows 15 year olds to work... (that isnt publix or bk)... please... I really just want to get a job so I don't have to depend on my parents for money. I'm not even sure if this is really a question... But I'm basically asking for a list of jobs in my area that allow teens my age. :)

i live in lake worth florida and ive been trying to get a job for the longest time! i know coldstone hires at 15 and alot of little restaurants hire busboys at 15.
but to get job remember you have to keep going back and asking about your application, that will make them see you really want the job.

that's so funny because I actually applied there online (Coldstone). I highly doubt I will be hired... but it was worth a shot... It's so frustrating that there's barely any jobs to get. Thanks anyway
