Okay I just got my SAT scores back...

540 math
450 reading
380 writing

It was my first time taking it and i was kind of caught off guard... so i just decided to answer EVERYTHING... even the grid in questions in the math (as in just pick a random number) because i COMPLETELY forgot that wrong answers are minus points... so i didnt leave ANYTHING blank...

I also have almost straight A's in all my classes... just one B usually and rest A's... and i take all the honors and AP classes i can...

So with that will I be accepted to USF??? I know no one really knwos but What's the SAT score that USF is looking for??? (University of South Florida)

And what are the other school's like? usually...

also does anyone knwo about standard SAT score for University of Florida??? (everyone was surprised when my friend with 970 SAT score got accepted)

Check out collegeboard.com. They have the SAT and ACT standards for many colleges.

Here are the standards for USF:
Math 510-610
Critical Reading 500-600
Writing 470-570

SAT scores are not the only things that determine if you can get into a school. If your SAT scores are not good but you have loads of extracurriculars, volunteer hours, and a high class rank then you still have a good chance of getting into your school. And those AP classes look good on your transcript too. Since it was your first time taking the SAT, take it as many times as you can before you have to apply for college. It's not a test you can study for, but to do well on it you just have to practice actually taking the test. In a way, it's a measure of your test-taking abilities. Since you know that you screwed up by answering every question, now you know that you will do better next time by not doing that.
