It seems like every friday that my boyfriend and I go out to eat all the buffets serve fish. Why is it always fish friday? Can anyone explain or is it just some odd coincidence?

Wow, my dad and I had a conversation about this yesterday actually! I don't know if they still do this, but Catholics used to always eat fish on Fridays. So when my parents were in school, the cafeteria would always serve some type of fish on Friday, and a lot of restaurants still do that. I'm not Catholic so I wouldn't know why, or even if people still do that, but that's why :)
