Okay, I'm 16 so I dont know if that helps like make you more comfortable or not. haha. But well, this all depends on the entire situation. I'm going to assume that you havn't ever talked to her before...or at least that much anyway. But before I go on I need to tell you: don't ask for her sn. Big no-no!! I went through hell with a guy who i first really started talking to over IM. We went out but when eventually it was a total crash and burn. It makes it more awkward in person and well, just don't do it please. okay. here we go: there's a couple dif situations and since i dont know you then you can pick what your's is...
1. You're pretty popular and she's the hottie you've had your eye on from afar but she's not really in your group but would definitely fit in: so if this is you then
A)if she has the same lunch, invite her to sit w/ you. shes GOING to say no, so don't freak, but then she's got the hint...and see if she gives you anymore attention? maybe some looks or smiles?
B)just go up and make up some fake gossip about a teacher or something. something funny, not bad or mean. then be like "I'm (insert your name) by the way."
C)give her a compliment to start things off. anything. ex:"nice sweater" short and to the point. then tell her your name, ask her what class she has and tell her wher you're going. maybe a couple days later, try to get next to her and be like "hey again!" and tell her something interesting. make her laugh...and make sure to say hi to her in the hall if you see her. but just every couple of days. dont be like a stalker.
2)if shes the popular one:wait, on second thought...no offence but dont talk to her. im sry, she's probably stuck up and not interested. just gonna clear that up for you
