Well, for the past 3 years I've pretty much have been drifting in this town,and freshman year,I'm realizing, it has nothing to offer to me. I live with my mom, but my dad lives in another state. I'm thinking of moving in with him, just to get away from it all. Theres pro's and con's, such as i wont be seeing my best friend, but i will be able to start over. has anyone experienced this or been through this before? Should i really give everything up? I need some,i don't know, insight? I know you can't make the decision for me, but I'm just looking for one last piece of advice, you know? 14/f (link)

yes. something really similar like that happened to me. Last year i was in 8th grade, and i had been going to that school since preschool. I had my bestfriends in the whole world who went there, and then, me and my family moved to a new town, and i had to start highschool this year knowing absoloutley no one! I was so scared I cried b4 the 1st day of school, but now, im actually finding that the move was one of the best things that happenened to me. I fit right in at the highschool and I have made SOOO many friends. It was REALLY REALLY nice to start all over with no reputation or anything and make a name for myself that I could be proud of with no strings attached becuase no one new anything about me. 3 guys have asked me to homecoming and more offers are coming, and thats a plus on being the new girl. guys are interested.
So, if you want my advice, just listen to your heart, becuase leaving behind my bestfriends was REALLY hard, but i have made new ones and barely miss them now.
