I'm here to help and ask me any question!
advice
I am interested in making my soccer skills better. I am looking for any soccer drills that I can do on my own to make my dribbling, passing, kicking and such. I am also looking for any advice on things I can do to make my stamina better, and improve my physical fitness in general for soccer. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Alright, well i've been playing soccer ever since i was four (and i'm sixteen now), so i know a whole bunch of different drills. What i reccomend is just always having a soccer ball with you. Even if you're just walking around the house, have the soccer ball with you and get as many touches on the ball that you can. You can always get a friend to go out and practice with you too. hmm. if you don't have someone to pass with you, you can just practice hitting a ball against the curb, a wall, or a peice of wood. Another little drill that improves you're touch ALOT is juggling. Thats where you hit it off your foot/thigh/chest/head etc. that helps alot. i would also try different drills with both feet. the best thing you can do is be able to use both feet. another thing you can do is just throw the ball up, and trap it with your body. Also work on taking your first touch forward so you'll already have a step ahead of your defender. You can also do the classic of dribbling through cones. for kicking (long distances) i reccomend leaning back a little bit and hiting underneath the ball. to get in shape, i reccomend running every day. start with 2 miles (or whatever you can run) and increase it by a half mile each day. also in the runs, include a couple of sprints because, duh, thats what you'd be doing in a game.
oo! and don't forget different fakes and dodges. these will help alot, and dont' be afraid to practice them in a game. you can probably just go to google or something and search soccer fakes. umm.
good luck!
