Q: i went out of town sunday and just got back today. well this guy and i have liked each other for 2 years and we went out for 6 months then broke up but continued being friends and this summer weve been extremely romantic..telling each other we love each other and hanging out alot and weve both loved it because we feel very strongly about each other and come to each other for everything and the night before i left he told me that he cared about me too much to hook up with other girls and that made me feel really good. WELL i just got back and he had sent me a long message telling me how much he loved me, etc..and then i decided to log onto his myspace (i know its bad but ive known his password and i get curious) and i found A BUNCH of messages with this girl he hooked up wiht a long time ago..she wants to have sex with him..(hes a virgin and so am i but hes not waiting till marriage like i am) and he sent her a message inviting her over and they were planning to do stuff..he was like "i can show you my bed :)" blah blah and then the last message he sent her said he couldnt hang out anymore cause of football..well it REALLY REALLY hurt me BAD..he had just told me he cared about me too much for that but the DAY i leave thats what he does? what i want to know is should i tell him i logged onto his myspace and just tell him everything so he'll understand why i'm mad? im not gonna pretend i'm not hurt because i am. so what should i tell him when i talk to him tonight? thank you so much!

I think you should ask him whats going on. Remember that you need to stay calm and non-angry when you ask him. say something like:
"(boys name) i was visting your myspace page the other day and i saw some messages from you and a girl talking about having sex. Are you planning to actually do this with her? I would apriciate it if you just came clean. I am not going to be mad, i was just really hurt when i saw this. I figured i should ask you before i asumed too much."
Hope that helps. I know it is alot to say but you need to break it to him slow and make sure you emphisize that you AREN'T going to be mad if he was. Just stay calm if he says "yeah i was" he will probly say he was sorry and go into a speech why he did it. Just be understanding.

thanks so much..i just talked to him and i was just like "i have a feeling you were gonna do something bad but you didnt" and he was like"yeah.." and then he told me all that but he wasnt gonna have sex with her he was just worried i didnt like him anymore and then he realized he didnt wanna hurt me so he changed his mind and he did give a long speech and i forgive him because youre right..everyone messes up sometimes. thanks though!
