sorry, this may be long. [but i really need advice]
ok, me and this guy were together for 5 months. a couple days ago i broke up with him. i love him so much and i want to be with him more than anything. but i broke up with him because next year he is going to be going off to collage and staying in a dorm up there. but i figured, the longer i wait, the harder it would be to let him go then. i really want to be with him, but if we get back together it will just be harder the next time we break up because we will be attached to eachother more, but i love him. no, i really LOVE him. we talk and stuff still, and i told him that i wanted to keep in touch with him when we was in collage and through the summer and stuff, and he said he wants to also. and he also says he still LOVES me just like i LOVE him. ok, im a freshman, hes a senior. i told him that once i got out of school that i would come back to him. and he said he would wait for me because he loves me. and i really hope that works out, because i want to be with him more than anything, he means everything to me. do you think that in 3 years we will still want eachother, and will be able to get back together? also, we still talk at school, and its great, because we both want to be together. should we get back together and have to go through the whole breakup process again and make it harder for us teh next time we break up? tell me what you think of this, and what we should do. and anything else would help!

i'm kinda in the same situation. my boyfriend is a senior and i'm a freshman and we've been going out four months. i understand EXACTLY how you feel. i tried to do what you do and break up with my boyfriend and told him i needed a break, but he didn't want one so we're still together. you just have to go with your feelings. if you get back together, maybe there wouldn't even need to be another break up. but if i was you since you're already broken up, i would just remain friends. not even friends, it would stil be more than that since you both love each other. i would just remain talking and if he will wait for you, there shouldn't be a problem at all because no matter what you two will still be kinda together, but not technically. i hope i made sense because i know the whole situation is confusing. i hope a helped and good luck
