No question will offend me. I am very supportive. I will not judge you. But I will tell you the truth - straight up.
I'm in 3 year University, studying Business. I have been in a 2 year relationship with a guy I love very much. I'm very open and I do not get embarassed. Feel free to ask me anything under the sun!

14/f. Haha I feel stupid asking this but people say they trim their pubes. How do you do this? How short should you go? And when you shave your bikini line, how do you not get the razer bumps? And any other information about grooming down there would be helpful. (link)

Make sure you have a new sharp razor, use shaving creme or soap, and shave with the grain. so basically shave the opposite way you shave your legs - downwards, instead of up which is against the grain. also - I see the other responses say to put a lot of lotion on it after - but if you do put lotion on, I would suggest that it be a gentle lotion and not be scented, becuase it can sometimes irritate the pores and cause ingrown hairs and so on.
After the first few times you shave, it should be smoother and you should get less bumps afterwards.
Also - dont shave it everyday, that will also make the skin more irritated. ALSO - if you are planning for a day at the beach or something like that, wait a while before you shave either the day before or the day of, becuase the longer the hair, Id say no longer than... 1cm, the smoother the shave will be because the hair will be softer.
Good luck!
