Q: I have a friend whose parents are really overprotective. She's a girl, I'm a guy, so obviously her parents have a problem with her hanging out with me. She can only see me when we go in a big group that is mostly of girls.
I was thinking about approaching her parents and telling them that I'm a Christian [like them], I don't drink or do drugs, I'm only interested in friendship, I'm a virgin and will be until I get married..basically that I'm a good person. What do you think are the chances that they'll change their mind and let her hang out with me alone?

I think that you are making a very good choice in confronting her parents about you being friends w/ her. I appluade you on being able to tell them that you are a christian and are gonna be a virgin until marriage and i hope you keep that. I believe that if they are christians and you confront them about this then they should go a little easier..i can't make any promises but i hope that this will help...

I just your average teen age girl, except i've gone through a lot of hardships that no one should go through, much less a teenager. I have a lot of experience with giving advice and love to do it. I am spirited and willful. I would love to help anyone i can no matter what the situation. I hate when people judge others, and make it my goal to not judge others. Everyone has their unique characteristics that should be uplifted and not put to shame.
