well..i'm 17, i love just about everything! God is my LORD and personal Savior. my family and friends mean the world to me and i would do ANYTHING for them. i pretty much have the most amazing boyfriend anygirl could ever ask for and love him with all my heart. if anybody needs any held, don't hesitate to ask, i will do my best to help! =]

How long do you think you should hold on to a relationship you know will never happen?
Story behind the question:
I've liked this really nice guy for years. He's kind of popular because he's so nice and funny. Seriously, this guy would start a conversation with anyone. Not so many popular girls like him in a love way, but a lot of people from middle-lower to average on the social scale do. (Sorry, I hate when people talk like that, but its the only way I can really describe it.) I'm somewhere between average and popular, but I don't hang out with popular people. So basically, this guy and I used to be pretty good friends, but did nothing outside of school, then we barely talked for a year because we didn't have any classes together. I still hung on, although I went out with other guys. This year I see him again and still have feelings for him. But there are a bunch of other girls that like him. I don't want to ask him out because I'm pretty sure he'll say no. Should I let go? --I've tried this before though, didn't work.

hold on!! if he really means that much to you and is as great as you say, then don't let him get away! i liked this one guy from 8th grade all the way till summer before junior year...and i moved away summer before sophomore year. we were really good friends but then it changed freshmen year...then i moved away but i still realllly liked him. well in july of this year, i went back to that state for a visit for 2 days and on the first day he called and asked me to dinner. so we went and he was just acting different..in a good way. and at the end of the night, he said he had just realized how much he really missed me and how he'd give anything to have me stay there and he kissed me goodbye (my first kiss) *we saw eachother the next day too*. so basically almost 4 years...and then i finally got him. now since then things have changed and i have a wonderful bf in my own state, but we still keep in touch and if i go to college out there, he said he'd be waiting. you never know what will happen. don't give up!!....not yet at least
