I'm thinking about studying medicine to be a pediatrician, I love kids. It all seems fun and (yes, I know a lot of work too) like something I could do. I'm not sure why but I feel drawn towards psychology, like dealing with people and the way they think. My question: is pediatric psychiatry something you would have to take a different route - in terms of schooling - for than to be a normal pediatrician? Thanks.
Wow I want to be the exact thing! lol. What I was thinkng of doing was just to major in college with psychology and then going to medical school. I'm not really sure but I don't think that you choose what type of doctor you want to be in medical school, so after med school you go to the job in medicine that you want to be. That is just what I heard so I'm not entirely sure. But I hoped I helped in some way =]]]
