How come when people ask you a private question and rate you, it doesn't count torward your raiting? I personally take more pride in answering a question that was asked to me personally because that person took the time and chose ME to give them the best advice. _(link)

Hm, I looked here: http://www.advicenators.com/faq.php?f=100, but it didn't explain it much. I'm guessing it's because lots of people on here ask themselves questions pretending it's their friends and other people asking them, but the questions are like a chat. It's not advice, it's like 'wasssup love your column omg love you byeesss". So, maybe because the majority of questions that go to people's inbox's are not asking for advice they don't count.
