ok i know you guys have all heard this before i like my best guy friend i am 14/f and he is 16/m we are neighbors and i tottlay like him i try flirting with him but i tottaly get mixed messages he is so supportive in what i do he goes to all my softball games and basketball games even when i don't ask him to my friends think he is to old for me i want to tell him how i feel but i just can't please help me he is perfect for me p.s. we go to diff skools (link)

well since he goes to your events without you asking he either has a thing for you or someone else he sees there. Your friends opinoin does matter but at the end of the day it is still your choice and your friends shouldnt care they should except it, unless they have a thing for him that may be why they are saying that. Just try flirting a little but not coming on to strong after a while, if he likes you, it should go somewhere. good luck
