i'm going to buy a chi straigtener soon but does it seriously work well? i don't want to spend all that money on nothing. i have pretty thick wavy hair...how long will it probably take me to straighten it all? i have conair 200 watts..but it doesn't work on me for some reason. 15 minutes using it IT DIDN'T WORK! what is wrong with me!!! My hair is thick and wavy too. I tried a conair like a few years ago but it didn't work, it just isn't a very good brand. The chi works really well but make sure that you get some kind of hair oil or shine because if you don't and you use your Chi too much then it could fry your hair. But I have a Chi and it works really well!!! Be careful not to burn yourself because the straightener gets really hott!!
