Old enough to know, young enough to understand. I got the hat and the T-shirt, wrote the book, read lots of books. Saw lots of films.

M'kay ladies and gentlemen, this is how the story goes.

I used to have my Nintendo on my desk, way back when, and since then i've disconnected it, moved it and left it.

Well, over the past few days i've played most of my SNES RPG's over again, and I decided "im going to look for my copy of Final Fantasy".

I searched far and wide, and when my search of my stack of NES games brought up nothing - I decided to look in the most logical place - the last place it was set up.

I took a look in my desk, and couldn't find it, then I forgot that there used to be a drawer in the bottom (long ago taken out, and its just a small hole I often forget about, however today I found that a lot of stuff fell through the back and landed in there) I looked in there and voila, I found my copy of Final Fantasy.

The only thing is, when I removed it, I found this odd brown substance that smelled like urine all over it (which wasn't feces, it was something else)

It did not get on any of the connectors, but its all over the back of the cartridge. There is no logical explanation for there being any urine in the back of the cabinet, so i'd only assume that its something else - something fairly rotten (since I haven't actually gone back there in years).

I took paper toweling and the brown substance wiped off easily, however the cartridge still had a strong urine smell. So I dabbed some pledge (the wood cleaner - the only real cleaning product I own) on a different piece of paper toweling, and then the smell appeared to be gone - for a short duration. While I thought the smell was gone I placed the game in my Nintendo to see if it still worked - and it did so I know now that my crusade is at least not in vain.

Any advice on how to get this stench off of this? I have a feeling it will get much worse if I sit down and play it for several hours with it inside the system.

Any advice is appreciated.

Can you please type that again. I have lost the question... And the will to live too...:-)

(Rating: 1) Oh my lord! Lost the will to live?!

When you die can I try and use some of your bodily fluids as cleaning supplies?
