The nerves in my foot really hurt! I am going to get surgery on it soon. However, I am wondering what kind of shoes I can buy to prevent this from happening again. This is my 3rd foot surgery. What are some brand name shoes that are comfortable and won't kill your feet? I am currently using Softwalk..they help a little..any more ideas? Thanks (link)

yes.. birkenstocks are very comfertable. you can get pads to put in your shoes to fit the size & shape of your foot. they sell them at wal-mart, meijers... alot of popular stores. they slip into the bottom of your shoe. i know their not that expensive... probably between 10 - 25 $.
