Hey guys! My name is Chelsea and I'm 19 years old. I'm a full-time college student at St. Edwards University as a Journalism and Communications major. My goal is to start a new magazine someday. I really enjoy fashion and writing. I'm a vegetarian and I absolutely LOVE all kinds of music! My boyfriend and I are about to celerate our 3 year anniversary and we've truly been through it all together! Oh, and I love giving and receiving advice (it's always good to have an outside opinion), which is why I joined this site!! Well, I guess that's a good general overview of me! Hope to hear from you soon!!

i've been with my boyfriend for over 2 years and we still love each other a lot. i show him all the time how i feel about him, like by giving him a back rub or making him dinner. he tells me that he loves me and is still in love with me, but he never shows me anything that can prove what he says. he has a hard time saying i love you first. i just don't know what to do (link)

People show their emotions in all different ways. For example, most males that are friends don't tell eachother they love eachother. They do things together like playing basketball, joking around together: it's their way of becoming closer and showing that they are friends. This has been a large problem in the communication between men and women. Women feel as if they need to express their feelings through doing this for others, while men are less outgoing about their feelings. If you are really concerned about this lack of expression, maybe you should sit down and tell him how you feel. Don't attack him, though! Just tell him that sometimes, you feel that you do so many things for him because you love him so very much and you don't feel that in return. Ask how he feels about you and why he feels uncomfortable saying "I love you" first. The best way to solve relationship problems are through honest, calm communication! Hope that I helped and that everything works out for you!
