I have a Honda Civic 97', and I haven't been driving that long. I'm just getting used to the clutch and I've almost worn it out and its getting really spongey. Are there any "homemade mods" or cheap parts I could buy to fix it?

tell your parents you need to look at a new clutch. it may be the throwout barron that needs to be replaced. i have a 96' geo metro..and its a standard and im a new driver. its gunna feel weird at first BELIEVE ME! haha.. but seriously just talk to the rents, ask them to take it to the garage. or better yet, be RESPONSIBLE and take it yourself one day after school or practice or w/e. go and ask them to check it out and ask them what parts they think you need and ask for an estimate from them.. then go back to the parents and tell them what happened and such. shows that your responsible and you really care about your car.
