I want to be homeschooled next year, and I was wondering if anyone knew anything about it and if it costs alot or not? If someone was to be homeschooled, would they still have to take gym or no? (link)

Oh man, this is kinda up my alley. I wish I knew where you lived. In my area we have Independent Study. This means that you come into school once a week for about half an hour and get homework assignments, that equal about 4 hours of work/day, from one teacher P.E. can be included but is in the form of any kind of documented exercise.
Homeschooling is different altogether. Someone is usually at home to make sure you are doing the work you are required to do. You have stricter standards to adhere to and you have to follow the district and state guidelines for homeschooling. Check on internet for other details. And check with your district about independent study. Often students find that to be a better option.
