I'm an energetic, funky, honest, unique, cutesy, wild, fun, sporty, with-it girl who will always try and give you an answer. my family and just switched to a new church that my cousin goes to. My youth group is taking a trip to flordia to a camp and we just moved so i don't know anyone. i really dont want to go alone and i asked my cousin if she was coming and she said she doesn't know. and i dont think she likes me very much but i really cant tell. the trip is this month and I'm scared that i'll be all alone. Don't worry! On these types of camps, you're BOUND to get to know more people! Just be yourself, and be outgoing! People like a person that isn't afraid to say hello to them. Just don't be shy and you'll be set. It may seem hard, but when going to camps with people that like the same thing as you, you're "destined" (lol I don't know a word to put there :) ) to get a few acquaintences! And about your cousin, don't worry. She might be going through some things. Maybe she's stressed, hormonal, depressed, who knows. Just be as nice as possible around her and if you REALLY think she doesn't like you, tell her. That sounds crazy, but if you tell her, she might not even realize how mean she's coming off! Say something like, "Um _____ (Cousin's name) sometimes I feel like you don't like me. And if I chew with my mouth open and that annoys you, or if I talk too much...just tell me." Now, not saying that you do that, but you should tell her that you feel like she doesn't like you. Maybe she'll realize that she does come off that way and change. It's worth a try!
