Bruise Stains

How do you get rid of bruise stains? I was very active when I was a kid and always got bruises on my shins and lower leg. Those bruises never fully healed. Now, I'm 22 and they just look awful! I went to my doctor and she said it was a bruise stain and there was no way to treat it unless I want to get a biopsy. Does anybody know how I can get rid of it without a biopsy?

I wore a pair of flats that was a size too small for about 6 hours straight. That night, I came home to find out that my big toe nails have a bruise at the side for both big toe nails. How do i make it go away faster and how long does this last?

Surgery Fears

For the past two years I have been having a sharp pain in my right shoulder. I have been to many doctors and nobody can diagnose it let alone find a way to fix it. I am in constant pain despite the surgery I have already had. I am going to be having another surgery very soon and I'm so scared. I'm only 15 and I'm being told I might need a joint replacement or I might have to live with this pain for the rest of my life. As if this isn't bad enough, I'm deathly afraid of hospitals and needles, something I've been having to deal with a lot. Any advice on how to deal with my injury and fears?

Did i get a concussion from the impact of water hitting my head?

Today i was swimming and i was nauseous. my brother wasplaying shark attack in the pool and he'd chase me in and out of the pool trying to bite me on my leg. I got up ran out and dove back in the pool, biut i don't think that i did it right. I didn't have my hands form a triangle above my head, my hands were on my sides and i dove in head first ( 12 feet deep pool). This happened around 6:50- 7:00. My head smacked the water and it hurt very badly. when i came up form the water everything was foggy but i don't know if that's because i opened my eyes underwater. The first thing that popped in my head was "WHAT IF I GOT A CONCUSSION?" so i freaked out. i have a history of anxiety issues causing me to feel what i think i have....

TINY TINY pieces of glass in skin

I was in an accident last night and the glass shattered and got everywhere! I can feel the stinging feeling when I touch certain places because that's where the glass is. Some of it is pretty deep down in my skin. I was wondering, more like hoping, that the pieces of glass, no bigger than a needle's point, would just drop off, or come out after some time? Like my skin would just ejects it?
I dont want to live with glass in my skin, its uncomfortable.

hey. my name is evan. im 15 years old. i currently have melanoma skin cancer. this is kinda embarassing to ask but my older brother punches me in the junk for no reason alot and i just wanted to no why it hurts so much to be hit there. and also y does it hurt girls to be hit there? and y do i feel like throwing up when it happens. i hope these questions didnt make u feel uncomfortable. thanks for your help.

cutting

look, all my friends cut them selfs all the time right, and i have always known it was wrong!
but one day i was so very low and the only thing i could think of doing was cut myself, i did not use a knife or anything that sharp for that matter and the cut was not that deep,i thought it would heal soon after i did it,
but its turned into a scar :(
i dont need any responces saying its bad to cut myself as i know this and i will never do it again (belive me)
but the scars are on the upside of my arm near the bottom they have healed and they are sorta white ish you know.
and i was wondering if you knew any ways to get rid of them or make them not that noticeable as i am a little bit taned they stan...

so my boyfriend has this friend who used to cut herself and now she has scars on her arms from where she used to do that. she was wondering if there might be any way to remove them? if scar remover would work? if so, which one would work best? any ideas?

industrial piercing won't heal!

I got my industrial pierced about two months ago and one of the holes will not stay healed. Sometimes it gets a red blister-looking lump that pops up right where the piercing is. It doesn't hurt incredibly bad but it's annoying because it doesn't look good. I really don't want to take it out because i paid 70 to get it pierced and plus i like it. Anyways I clean it with peroxide and alcohol and the red bump still stays.
What should i do?

Sun Blisters!!!!!

Ok I was boating not to long ago and I got Sun burned. My friends mom told me to put Vinegar on it because it would take the sting away but it gave me a bunch of sun blisters on my chest. And one day overnight the Blister went down and when I woke up it was barely there. And so I peeled it off, but it wasnt such a good idea. I started to get all red and veiny in that spot. But now Its starting to peel but its still red. And I dont really know what to about it. So if you know what to do Please reply.

wheelchairs and pain

so i broke my right ankle (gruesome story), and now im in a wheelchair, and ive been doing quite a bit of upper body physical and occupational therapy. Now I have sever joint pain in the elbows, arm sockets, and shoulders as well as my right leg cramping up (i have been training in a walker as well)
The vicitin (if it is spelled right) can only help for so long and they are trying to ween me off.
What are some things i can do to releave pain?

hurt knee, doctors and insurance issues

When spending the night at a friend’s home I was jumped on and knocked down by his pack of wolfhounds (ten dogs) and fell on to my knees. There was no flooring only concrete I asked if he had homeowner insurance, he said yes but did not give it to me. This was 4 weeks ago I have not seen a doctor I have no insurance or money to do so. Knee is hurt for sure. Can I go to the doctor and then try to find the Insurance Company to discuss this matter

Chest Pain?

I was dancing for a performance and during a scene where we were supposed to be "chaotic," I ran into another girl on accident (it looked choreographed so the peformance was saved) and I think she hit me in the chest with her arm or something.
Now, it hurts to breathe really deeply and when I laugh, it makes me cry because the pain is really bad. Is this just a bruise that might go away in two/three days? Or should I make an appointment with my doctor? I have another performance on Friday, the 21st, so do you think it might go away by then?

Really bad ankle pain.

okaay, so at the beginning of the softball season (like march 18th or so) i fractured my ankle, crutches for 2 in a half weeks.
It was fine after that and i played the rest of the season.
i went to the doctor 2 weeks ago for a check up and everything was fine with it, but Recently the same ankle has began swelling and i can't put very much pressure on it,
does anyone have any ideas what's wrong with it?

a couple weeks ago i kinda nicked myself shaving on my bikini line, and it hasnt healed yet. i put neosporine on it and havent shaved over it since, but its kinda turned into a lil red bump .. and yesterday there was a lil tiny bit of puss coming out of it, like if you squeezed a zit. but less. has this ever happened to anyone else & what can i do to make it heal? thnx & i'll rate if you give a good answer =)
